E’ stato rilasciato un aggiornamento per il “SQL Server Integration Services Feature Pack for Azure”, per tutte le versione di SQL Server dalla 2012 in avanti.

Questo feature pack specifico per SSIS ed Azure permette a SSIS di sfruttare delle feature di Azure in modo molto semplice, come ad esempio gestire un cluster HDInsight o copiare dei dati su un Blob Store.

Su GitHub si trova un interessantissimo plugin per SSIS che permette di avere come destinazione un dataset di PowerBI. Inutile dire come questa possibilità possa aprire innumerevoli soluzioni, anche per la creazione di Dashboard aggiornabili in real-time in modo veramente molto molto semplice.
